© Wendelin Wolgemuth   Wendelin Wohlgemuth is a german-american oil-painter, who currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon, USA. He graduated at the Western Washington University in Studio Art B.A. With a minor in Philosophy, 2013. Wohlgemuths central interest is focused on the exploration of paradoxal function and oil paint. His canvases refer to oil paint in a dual sense: On the one hand its function, as an illusionistic, representing medium, after Alberti's fenestra aperta, is emphasized, on the other hand, the physical substance, the aspect of materiality is explained.
